“We had a wonderful stay here! The location is convenient for winery hopping in the Douro Valley and the view into the valley is spectacular. It is very near a little town (Armamar) that had several delicious restaurants. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend their wine tasting with the cheese/charcuterie platter accompaniment - it was the perfect way to start our stay in the Douro when we checked in!”

“The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!”

On a vraiment l’impression d’être dans un petit B&B chaleureux plutôt que dans un grand hôtel, ce qui rend l’expérience très conviviale et reposante. L’endroit est aussi très bien situé, à environ 15 minutes en voiture de Peso da Régua, où l’on trouve plusieurs excellents petits restaurants. Please note that the only way to get there is by car and the most convenient option is to take advantage of the dinner offered. It should be noted that there is an opportunity to taste very good local wine on site.”

“LBV did not disappoint. It was very close to all the vineyards we wanted to visit. The pool was very refreshing at the end of the day. The rooms are very comfortable and spectacular views. The shower pressure was also great. The breakfast buffet was very varied and delicious. Even had gluten free bread upon request. I would highly recommend staying here.”
