The best thing about the property is the location. It is convenient to downtown with plenty of restaurants and things to do. The bad is the smell of the room is unbearable. Mold mildew smell covered up with deodorizer. They try to tell you they provide Dove soap but it's just cheap hotel soap put in the containers. Dove soap should get an email about that.

The toilets were old and too low. They're all fashioned, they need to upgrade the toilets, and they're very dirty inside the room where you really can't see it unless you're by the sink. And you look down, it's pretty bad they need to get up there and get rid of all that.Scum, just cleaning the bottom of the bowl is not the complete job.And you know, we paid a lot of money for the room.So that's my feeling other than that. It's great

The room was clean as is the property, but it's in need of some TLC in spots, at least in the room I had stayed in....mostly in the bathroom. Other than that, the staff, property, and amenities are wonderful here and it is one of my favorite places to stay at when visiting Saratoga.

The room was average, definitely could have been cleaner with a full compliment of bar soap, etc. The staff on the hotel end were peasant and cordial. The breakfast was terrible! the buffet was in some cases cold (I.e. scrambled eggs), luke warm (I.. sausage, bacon), tomato juice watered down, french toast cold and the price for this $23 down from $26 because I am a senior. Stewart's across the street on Sunday morning had a hot sausage & egg breakfast sandwich with a blueberry muffin for just over $8. The bar food Friday evening was okay, however draft beer for $8 that was not nice and cold does not cut it in my mind. I get the Holiday Inn takes advantage of the big crowds in Saratoga because of the horse racing, but that highly inflated price does not reflect well on what I received back. Not very happy!

First of all Krys at the front desk was better then excellently. Also Brian was also helpful. They gave us so much good information that made our stay wonderful. Breakfast was very good and included. The double queen room was a bit small but very clean. It had frig, microwave, coffee machine and very hot water for a great shower. Shuttle service was great, but location is only a short walk into town. You can even walk right through Congress park. I will return on my next visit to Saratoga for sure.

Cleaning staff was good. But the tub was dingy, I think from age and not appealing. I believe our room must have been next to the mechanical room or some type of equipment because the noise made by the machines was continuous and made it difficult to relax in the room.

It was a great hotel! Spacious, nicely furnished, great amenities. The breakfast was delicious and service was friendly and helpful. This is our second visit to this hotel, and we'd definitely choose to stay here any time we travel to Saratoga Springs. The hotel is convenient to the racetrack and SPAC, and right down the street from the shopping district and loads of restaurants. We didn't need to go out for breakfast as it was included with our booking. Several days a week they offer made to order omelets as well as an ample buffet. Every employee we interacted with was very friendly and helpful, from checking in to the shuttle driver to the wait and cleaning staff. Comfortable, clean rooms and the outdoor pool looked nice although we didn't have time to check it out. Two thumbs up all the way.
