Donโt bother
You canโt fault the location and you know when you book that thereโs a pub downstairs but the noise since Saturday has been appalling! When we arrived the place wasnโt clean so I called Andy and he arranged for a cleaner to come round and get what they missed but as the week went on we found more and more things wrong! The ovens fan didnโt work so it burnt our dinner on the first night, the small bedrooms window wouldnโt close so we had to leave it open also the small one in the kitchen wouldnโt open at all. We didnโt get much sleep at all it wasnโt a comfortable place to hang out in because you were competing with the extractor fan from the pub below, they had deliveries between 6-8 almost every morning and if it wasnโt that then we heard the window cleaners at 6. We couldnโt close the windows because it was so muggy so we could hear everything that was going on, they started drilling downstairs at 9am without even bothering to let us know, the people next door where banging on our door as they thought it was us! The apartment constantly smelt of fish and we tried to find where it was coming from and no it wasnโt from downstairs because it was even there when they didnโt serve food, all in all unless youโre a really heavy sleeper, donโt mind black mold/ rundown accommodation, deaf or can take hearing aids out then this is the place for you. We knew it wasnโt a good start when I had to ring them up to ask the code to get in as they didnโt attach the info in the first email
