โI cannot praise this hotel enough. The room was very spacious, everything very new and in perfect condition, staff always attentive / courteous. Great for couples or groups. Overall it was our favourite stay during our trip to Japan. Location is fantastic, just across the river from Ginza, a block away from Pontocho, and the best connections by bus or trains to anywhere in Kyoto. โ
โExcellent place to stay in Gion. Really nice location, convenient. Attentive staff but they will not get in your way. Nice bathroom with a Japanese-style shower and tub area. Very clean and nice amenities. Although no breakfast provided, they provide suggestions and a convenience store is right across the street.โ
โHighly recommend this place to stay in Kyoto, so close to Gion, wonderful restaurants, and transport. The accommodation is so spacious, well equipped, clean and has a wonderful feel with an amazing wooden bath. Special thanks to Yui who works the front desk and the Cafe. She was wonderful, so friendly, helpful and welcoming to us. It's an amazing place and we would definitely return next time. โ
โWe love the GOCO and Mayumi and staff are so helpful and kind. Every time we travel to Kyoto, we must stay at the GOCO. We especially enjoy having a washing machine in the room. BEST PLACE!!โ
โThis is listed as a 3 star hotel. It is not. It is the most luxurious hotel weโve stayed at, including 5 star properties. The room was amazing. The location was perfect. Although everyone in Japan seems extraordinarily nice, the staff here beat even that standard. There was not one second of our time at this property that wasnโt perfect. 10/10. โ
