Location is great. Dinner was super good.

Everything was great

Incredible food, nice open air bath and great karaoke. Rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very nice

the stay is just so relaxing and zen like and it is less than 10 mins walk to Todaiji including the deer park. Kintetsu Nara train station is about 10 mins away and plenty of shops/restaurants/cafes to check out. Highly recommend this hotel. Service is just outstanding. There are two onsens - one upstairs and another one at the ground floor. The breakfast is just so filling but healthy.

Excellent property in a quiet neighborhood near Nara Park. Daily time slots for private onsen rooms were offered for free with our stay, which was a great surprise!

Great place. It was even better than we expected!

The staff were beyond friendly and hospitable! My friend staying with me was having medical issues and we were immediately offered help/accommodations in any way possible. The bath has a fantastic view over Nara, the property is nestled amongst some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen, our room was very cozy, and the breakfast in the morning left us full and satisfied. Somehow in a Country other than my home, I felt right at home. If I ever come back to Japan, I’d be remiss if I didn’t...

One of the highlights of the trip. An absolute must if you want to stay in a traditional Ryokan. Location was an added bonus to the bamboo forest and monkey park. Staff was top notch!

We absolutely loved our stay. Staff was so courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great. We hope to be back! The area is so beautiful. Be sure to hike over to the waterfalls and hopefully see some wild monkeys.

We had an excellent stay. The family was so wonderful. They took great care of us and were so sweet. Breakfast was delicious. The ryokan was beautiful and felt very traditional. Would highly recommend!

Though I only stayed there for one night, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. My room was really nice, and it was a good experience.

Beside the leaking ceiling, the room was nice. I was upgraded and also the staffs were extremely kind and thoughtful. Gave me a welcome gift while during the stay and it was nice to see child hood snacks at the front. Decoration and the atmosphere were very nice. Over all lived my stay and would come back 20/10.
