“First off. Location location location. We needed a place inside the park so we chose this place. My bad for not checking more closely —it’s a 1940’s building running off a generator; so no A/C. It was pretty hot while we were there. It finally cooled off in our room about midnight when the gas truck pulled in to refill the pumps. The staff was helpful in answering my many questions and getting us a bucket of ice. Also no mini fridge so don’t plan on keeping anything cold unless you’ve got a...

“This is the worst hotel you can stay at! I picked it because it was one of the most affordable ones in the area for my trip to Sequoia. Turns out it was affordable for a reason. The restroom was disgusting and the room had a horrible smell. There were several bugs in the room that even impacted my sleep. The staff was not welcoming and was extremely rude. I was charged extra for having a pet 35$ a night and for supposedly leaving dog feces and urination stains in my room. EXTRA 285 dollars btw....
