"We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus. The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk. We would thoroughly recommend the property and would stay again. "

The George Hotel Easingwold

"On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who check us in, showed us to our room and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. The room was lovely, well equipped and clean, we ate evening meals in the restaurant on two night, the menu had plenty of choice, the staff were all very good with nothing being too much trouble, not only was the service very efficient the staff made you feel welcome. We also ate in the restaurant for three breakfasts and the service, food quality, staff friendliness and efficiency was excellent. Throughout the day the hotel was busy and welcoming, but they always had enough staff to cater for the demand."

"Perfect- 11 out of 10!-Room was lovely,no expense spared anywhere, Contained everything we needed,Cozy and exceptionally clean. Really quick and efficient check in. Staff all so really polite and helpful, Relaxed and professional. Food there was Amazing and cooked breakfast was the best we’ve experienced.We got a great deal for a one night stay over in Aug 2025 but this hotel is so so good. We will definitely return in the future.Thank you all at the Plum and Partridge for making our visit so Awesome.x"

"The house was lovely, spacious, clean and well stocked with anything you might need. It is in a tranquil village and has plentiful off-road parking. The garden has an excellent view and is so peaceful to sit in. There is a park 2 minutes down the lane, a football field, and if you continue down the lane, there is a pond and a lovely walk around it. It was perfectly located between all the walking areas I wanted to see and complete. When we arrived there was bread, milk and some treats waiting for us which was just lovely, will defo be booking again for my next walking holiday."
