"Room clean with comfortable temperature. Shower rather weak stream. Breakfast quite good but I think some items had been cooked a while. Great to have car parking but it got a little tight at times."

"A lovely pub in a picturesque setting. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. Unfortunately we had an early start the day we checked out so had to leave before we could have a cooked breakfast but upon letting staff know the night we checked in they were able to do us up a takeaway breakfast which was very thoughtful. We ate at the pub the afternoon we arrived and had an amazing roast dinner. A very nice place to stay that’s in a nice quiet location. Would stay again if I needed somewhere to stay in the area. "

"We arrived around 5:00Pm, for a long weekend the wether was stormy. We struggled to find the place as it is in the middle of nowhere next to a farmhouse. The layout was good with ample space but there’s no shower gels or hand washing soap in bathrooms. Heating stopped working the next day. Tried contacting the Sykes office and unable to get through. Eventually managed to get through to someone who sent an engineer to fix it. Poor internet connection and satellite signal for sat navigation in this area. So the delivery services struggled to find the place to deliver food to us. We found the stay very stressful and we had to go to the shops to get hand wash shower gel and toilet papers as none provided. The owners need to equip the property better."

"Great stay. All the amenities you could wish for. Very clean, loads of toys for small children and a lovely garden. Barbecue area and play area also great. Parking was easy too with a large parking space that had room to get out two children with car seats. Extra parking available at the bottom of the road. "
