“My room and bathroom were clean, even though there were a few worn spots on the night stand. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean. The sitting area was nice and I appreciated the long desk as I was there on a work trip. LOVED the window seat! For the first time, I checked in the vestibule with a live attendant on a check-in screen machine. The process was fine, just different.”

“Inn was beautifully renovated while maintaining its historic character. Weather was great when we stayed there and it was so nice to be able to open the windows for fresh air while we slept. “The front desk personal was the greatest The biggest issue was that the cleaning staff never came and changed out dirty towels for clean ones. Had to go to the front desk and ask for clean ones every day we were there.”

“This place was extremely dirty and nothing like the pictures. I’m honestly not sure how it passes inspection. I would’ve rather slept in my car. Thankfully, I was able to find another hotel up the street, even though it was much more expensive, it was worth it. There were also people hanging around the parking lot who made the property feel unsafe. Definitely read the reviews before booking.”

“Great location! The Gorge trail to the falls is right next to the Inn. Breakfast was delicious, but wish there was more to choose from. My husband was hoping for eggs and bacon, which was available, but for an added charge. Overall a great stay and would return.”

“We had a very nice and large room (king bed with pull out sofa in other room). It was quiet (here on weekdays) and staff was friendly and helpful. We swam in the pool (wished there would have been a hot tub). Breakfast was kind of expensive for the buffet, but otherwise no complaints. It was one of the best stays out of about 6-7 different hotels on our trip across several states.”

I did not complain because I was exhausted & just wanted to go to sleep. I had to put the heat on high to try & dry up the carpet. Had a difficult time keeping the heat on. The wall paper with all the circles has to go. It is so bad & I thought it would have been replaced by now. The soap & shampoo does not smell good. I would go with a vanilla or coconut...

“Clean, large room and spacious bathroom with high ceilings. AC unit in window worked well but was a little noisy for sleeping. Could have used a second chair in the room and a refrigerator. We were very happy with the accommodations and easy parking. Central location in town, but still quiet. One big disappointment was that the restaurant was closed. The description for the hotel did not mention this. No restaurants were open for breakfast Sunday through Tuesday and there were very limited...

“The room was not good. The office attendant was never there. There was mold on the shower curtain. The floor in the whole room was grimey The soap dish in the shower was all rusty and got all over the soap… It’s a cheap stay, and you get what you pay for. I felt safe at least! And the bedding wasn’t bad. The ac worked! The tv was hard to operate, but there was cable. Parking was easy.”

“Best breakfast I have ever had at a B&B! Casually sophisticated served in a great old mansion from the 1800's with a great history. The room I stayed in was comfortable and had the quietest air conditioning I have ever had anywhere. The gas fireplace made the room! Surprisingly quiet neighborhood too! Kudos to Drew and everyone at the Benn Conger Inn. My 6 night stay was great and I was happy I was able to pass on to you a new cooked egg technique.”
