Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns
Fabulous location but no longer lives up to the 5 star hotel it should be and still charges. Being local, I would not consider this hotel again. Not well maintained and a smell that would appear to be grotty carpets. Not impressed, very disappointed

The cafe area was a little grubby and the pidgeons were annoying.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cairns
Clean and great location separated by a small road from the esplanade. Staff was nice. Everything was satisfactory. The rooms are dated and worn out.

Atherton Tourist Park
Staff is friendly and rooms were nice and clean. Location is also perfect for visiting surrounding places. We enjoyed our time at the property

Discovery Parks – Lake Tinaroo
Room was perfect for what we needed, clean and well set out. Staff were fantastic. Easy parking and kids loved the jumping pillow, pools and water park. Highly recommended holiday destination
