“Top Frühstück, super schöne große Zimmer! Alles sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet. 100% Weiterempfehlung!”

“Beautiful property with free parking. Staff was very helpful. Liked that they had a grab and go breakfast for guests. Rooms were very comfortable and large. Mattress was very comfortable. Didn’t like original pillows and they were accommodating to change out pillows and make sure we liked the ones they brought to us.”

“Excellent experience this time! Very tidy clean room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast with a lot and healthy food”

“Room was nice but the balcony was a bit of a waste. Although it overlooked some of the park across the street, the electrical poles all over ruined the view. Certainly not their fault. Not a fan of the shower curtain and the shower head has hard water buildup and some mildew. Bed was very comfortable. The desk in the room is cheap and useless. Of course the breakfast had no vegan and gluten-free options so there was nothing for me to enjoy. Staff was very nice.”

“Had a wonderful stay! Highly recommend! Great location to Bar Harbor and hiking in Acadia. Spacious room with a balcony and a fireplace! Warm and welcoming staff. Sitting in the great room listening to the pianist was the perfect way to unwind after dinner”

“I don't recommend this hotel never. The reception women wasn't nice, and my wife and I couldn't sleep well because my room is loud noise of my door next front door . There is a most upsetting situation. And I was very cold in sleep because the heating didn't work at all night. The heating regulator did not work. It was 2am that I founded that the heating didn't work. I caught a runny nose next day and my trip was interrupted. I never recommend this hotel.”

“It was a beautiful, well kept up home run by a wonderful family! So fun to visit with other people staying there! And the breakfast was excellent!”

“Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.”

“We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking! Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell. There was hardly any space to keep luggage, no closet whatsoever. We could spent 2 hours at this place (1 hour of which was...
