“It's a lovely pub and hotel, with good live music and a really strong local clientele. The rooms are spacious and clean, with every thing you would need. It's super close to the railway station and to the town. We will be back there again.”

“I does exactly what it says. Clean and functional.”

“Room was dusty. The cleaning is problematic. The amenity was not enough. The window lock was broken. . . ”

“Grote kamer.

“This would have been an all over 'excellent' save for one issue immediately resolved by staff. The window catches in the ground floor room I was given which overlooked the garden could not be shut and locked to secure the room from the outside. As soon as I reported this, however, I was immediately offered another secure equally good room so it was resolved - the cleaning staff must have known but had not alerted management who were unaware till I drew it to its attention. That literally was...

“Lovely staff. Kitchen very functional and well stocked with utensils. Comfortable bed. Great location.”

“The family room was on the 3rd floor with two windows which were in poor condition. Only one was safe to open. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was very good as was the restaurant where we had dinner one evening. Staff were always very helpful and polite.”

“As previously it was all to a very good standard”

“There were some really great things about the property, but for the money it should have been immaculate and it was not. The bathroom was lovely, but if you had a bath, the hotel provided toiletries were not accessible. There were no hand towels. The supply of teas and coffees was stingy. The stair carpet needed a good clean. Breakfast was very good.”

“Very welcoming and well thought out accommodation. Would definitely stay again ”

“I was very pleased with the continental breakfast, which exceeded my expectations.”

“Wonderful stay right where we needed it. The staff were all so friendly and the room a great size and stocked with what you need. Parking is mainly residential but there are numerous car parks around. Great food in the pub also!”
