โ2nd visit to this beautiful boutique hotel. Loved the rooms, food & beautiful gardens with plenty of tables & seating areas. Staff very helpful & friendly. Car park close by you do have to pay however we downloaded app and where able to top up following morning. Very central to everything you need bars restaurants shopping and great walks near by. Would highly recommend โ
โSimply superb! This traditional B&B, for me, was perfect. Louise met me at the door with a warm smile and showed me to my, quaint, comfortable room. The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. Highly recommend this place when youโre passing through Shrewsbury UK.

โGood location, short walk into the centre. It has parking at the rear, although it could be a little tight if full. Only one word to describe the staff: AMAZING, so friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean, a little on the small side, but it wasnโt an issue; the shower had good water pressure. We didnโt eat at the restaurant for an evening meal as we went into Shrewsbury, but the menu looked good and the food smelt great. Breakfast was 1st class, a large full English with fresh...
โWhat has made this beautiful historic place so wonderful is the staff. They have made our stay so very enjoyable. They have gone above and beyond with the quality of service we received. We will be back and if you haven't been to the Prince Rupert Hotel , we highly recommend that you do if you want a first class experience. โ
โFriendly & warm welcome the staff were fab. Lovely room spotlessly clean & comfy beds. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Great location for exploring Shrewsbury will definitely return.โ
โIโve stayed here a few times & Iโll be honest a first impression is mmmmโฆ.. but in reality the rooms, staff, location & breakfast are great & once tried youโll come back againโ
โVery satisfied with our stay a fan was provided in the room with the weather being so warm, nothing was too much trouble, room cosy comfy bed and the pub just downstairs very handy, definitely be staying again.โ
โBrilliant stay in the heart of the town. Very modern, provides basic necessities such as shower gels and tea and coffees. The pub is just downstairs so any issues you can report to them. Keyless entry to the hotel and your room, very good value for money. โ
โStaff was very welcoming and helpful. our rooms were clean and I was happy with the iron, ironing board and hair dryer in the room. breakfast was great but as my partner was vegetarian he only had hash browns and beans it would be nice to have veggie sausages. we decided to eat in on our last night but was disappointed in the meal as the nan bread was rock hard and the curry was very bland with less curry and more of the boiled rice missing out the mango chutney will not be eating dinner againโ
โLovely cottage but not where Expedia show it in the town centre. Longden common is nice and the red lion pub just down the road is a good place to eat. Stairs a very steep so something to be aware of not mentioned in details about the rental. โ
โI enjoyed my stay ,Staff were very friendly ,and curtious and polite , The room was very nice ,only down side was the bed it was very uncomfortable far to soft , โ
