"Stayed here one night and what a fabulous, hot spring Onsen ryokan And the food was absolutely delicious for dinner and breakfast and the service was spectacular but we did not have a very good view because it was in the back but overall it was a wonderful experience so thank you and great job to the staff and the food"

"Hotel Okada is slightly further from the Station so recommend arranging Taxi services ahead of time if necessary. Location is an older location but very well maintained. Appreciated the breakfast's buffet variety and available facilities. We were there for a single overnight stay but definitely is worthy of a 2 or 3 night stay to relax. "The exterior looks old but the interior seems to have been renovated and it is in excellent condition including the room we were in. The private onsens are in outstanding condition, the public onsens are great although not as good. The breakfast was excellent with several Japanese and western dishes. The place is close enough to the train station to walk but far enough so that the noise of the town does not bother. "

"Overall this was a good stay This was our first time in a Ryokan so we were not sure what to expect. The staff was very nice and welcoming, and catered to our every need. The room was in traditional style where you sleep on futons, and have breakfast and dinner served to your room by the nice lady that is with you through your whole stay. "Great Ryokan, make sure you plan you travel from the station as limited taxis. Buses are regular but full of Gaijin with massive suit cases who are not always respectful of the locals. The Onsen and view of Fuji San is incredible. Food is very high end Japanese so make sure you understand this. Staff are very nice and helpful and speak English but do try and speak Japanese you are in Japan after all. 10/10 "

"The place is remarkable and excellent. We have a room with private onsen and the room can view the ocean from window. It includes one dinner and one breakfast and the food is awesome and fresh. We will recommend this place."

"Spend a night here, not very modern but still very clean. Great view Traditional Japanese style ,breakfast and dinner included with the price, dinner is pure Japanese experience. No bathroom only toilet if you like onsen. Taxi cost 1700¥ from Atami station or local bus stop in front of hotel. Open Onsen offer great view, not big little quiet . "

"The stay was super amazing from the get go. The hotel staff being the limelight, from when we entered the hotel till we exited, they were nothing less than fantastic, polite, efficient and courteous. In terms of the property itself, really amazing rooms, you can book your own private onsen, dinner and breakfast are included and they were very adjusting of our dietary restrictions (including vegetarian). We didn't even notice how the day went by and our stay finished. I will highly recommend it...

"A wonderful 5 star hotel. The lobby area is spacious and the check-in process is organized using kiosks with someone from the hotel to guide. The private Onsen on the 7th floor can be booked using their App which was explained during the check-in process. The buffet was good and had a lot of variety that caters to westerners and locals. Take advantage of the waterpark / Onsen across the street which is offered for guests staying at the hotel. The wristband for the waterpark is given to guests in the lobby area. The waterpark has a lot of pools with different themes (coffee, peach, green tea, and wine). The public Onsen has breath taking views of the mountains and you keep your swimming suit on the whole time which is suitable for families. You must cover your tattoos before accessing the waterpark. The back of the hotel is a nice garden that lights up at night for a lovely night stroll. We stayed for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll definitely come back again"
