"The facilities were dated, which I knew going in. But I wasn’t prepared for the level of decline: none of the restaurants/bars were open (permanently, it seems), the front desk was hardly staffed, the lobby wasn’t an inviting place to spend time. "Wonderful location above the sea with a great view from the rooms, the terrace and the pool. High level of comfort and convenience with a free bar and great Onsen with superb views. You can walk to the beach by foot within 5 minutes and also to the town and restaurants in about 10-15 minutes which was very convenient. Great value hotel!"

"Got a nice view of the mountains from my room. Buffet food was pretty good. All the public baths, including the ones at the neighbouring Mori no Yu, were very good! Would recommend coming if you want to enjoy onsen and disconnect from the busy city."
"Amazing place by the lake with excellent views. Room was a good size with a sofa and a balcony overlooking the lake. Very peaceful, near the two gondolas and Hakone Shrine."
"The food is absolutely amazing, the staff are very friendly, a local bus conveniently passes right buy it, they have a free shuttle to take to Gora which is the rope way station is. Their bath was slightly underwhelming but they have an option to use another public bath for free (5 minutes away). The room was clean and comfortable. It’s in a calmer and quieter area if that’s what you are looking for. Not much to do after dinner but very peaceful."
"Really enjoyed your hotel. Amenities were great. Food was great. Staff was helpful especially with the language barrier between us. They really did great."
"Highly recommended - an awesome experience. Would return anytime. Private Onsen and foot bath, view of Fujisan, peaceful and beautiful lakeside village. "
