“The check in process was basically a fight. We were out in the street trying to get the access code for more than 1/2 an hour. Finally another guest let us in. The hotel tech guy would not give us the code. Unbelievably bad experience after a 20 hour journey. We asked repeatedly before leyhome and during the flight for the code. They confirmed we had paid but would not give us the code. The guest that let us in had the same experience! Terrible hotel !”

“Mary(full name is maybe Mary Fris...something) was the receptionist when I was checking in. She was amazingly knowledgeable, smart, and kind. She knew everything about hotel system, city Oslo, travel attractions etc. I believe Thon hotel must guarantee some special BONUS and COPLIMENT for her. :)”

“Very comfortable hotel in residential area with access to public transportation, hotel staff very helpful and friendly.”

“Good place - clean and kind service ”

“The hotel was located in city center and was convenient to see around city and pier. employees are kind and good fitness center as well.”
