"This place was a dream! The geothermal pool, sauna and cold plunge pool were so much better than expected! So was the restaurant!! The food was incredible! Our room was in a house with a beautiful, full kitchen so you could cook if you wanted to. I’m glad we didn’t. It was one of our favorite meals of the entire week long visit around the island."

I hope that ownership and management recognize his efforts. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. The location is within walking distance to the main dining spots, the ferry terminal, and the local sights. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those looking to stopover in Stykkishólmur. P.S. - the chapel in the hotel can be a place of calm solitude for travelers looking to rest their minds."
