"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Absaroka Lodge.
The room was clean, and the location was excellent—less than half a mile from the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Several shops are within easy walking distance, making it convenient to explore Gardiner without having to drive.
The highlight of our stay was the view. Our Mountain View room offered stunning scenery that we never got tired of enjoying.
The beds were very comfortable, but the shower’s water pressure was weak.
The lodge itself is fairly simple and doesn’t offer many amenities, but it was comfortable and served as a great base for exploring Yellowstone.
One thing to keep in mind is that the nearby restaurants were generally overpriced for the quality of the food. That’s not a reflection of the lodge itself, but it’s something future visitors may want to plan for.
Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, well-located place to stay with outstanding views and easy access to Yellowstone, the Absaroka Lodge is an excellent choice."
