"We stayed two nights, and it was extremely comfortable and well equipped for our purposes of taking in the Freycient National Park. "Bedrooms very small and wardrobe space minimal. No room for suitcases in the bedrooms. Mosquitoes were a problem and no insect repellent on site. Carpets and floors looking very shabby. Photos of this place need updating as it’s condition has deteriorated dramatically since these photos were taken. But very convenient to hikes."

"Onsite parking and ramp to accommodation was idea for my elderly father that used a walker. The local shops were 1 min around the corner, with a well stocked IGA, a fabulous coffee shop attached to a very popular cafe/restaurant. Coffee was excellent and the staff were exceptionally nice. Only a very short walk down the hill to the esplanade around the bay, and then easy access to a beautiful sandy beach that provided a fabulous early morning or evening walk around the waterfront. I stopped...

"Really great house to stay in while visiting Freycinet. It was just 3 of us, but the house can accommodate so much more Great views from the deck of Freycinet National Park. Its located minutes from the park to make it easy to experience the beauty of the park. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need if you decide to cook. Also close to town if you need grab a pizza, ice cream or stop by the general store. The only thing I would change is to be able to...

"Mostly very good. However on last day there was an incident with an open fire left unattended on an adjacent vacant block. High winds were expected. Reported to the property managers who basically said if you feel threatened vacate!!! And call TAZ Fire. We ended up extinguishing it ourselves. Expected more practical help from the PM or a call from the Owners."

The Bolt Hole

"House was good. Letting agency came across poorly. Request for slightly late checkout was rejected out of hand - they said the house was let that same night and they needed to clean, but online booking showed house was NOT rented and Coles Bay was dead as a doornail while we were ther with most houses dark at night so the cleaning staff were certainly not busy. If you Google them you will find they refused refunds during COVID."

"One room out of four was so dirty, not clean and didn’t replace new linen from last used (I mean the small room upstair) We did not notify the owner because we have 6 adults and 2 kids, so we thought they expected us to use only 3 rooms. But after came back and read all reviews, seem like we should be eligible to use all the rooms and whole house. Hairs, stained and snack crumbs was found on the bed, no pillows cover on that room. So overall was not happy. Not good sound proofing, noisey. View...
