The only slight negative was that the room was a little too warm with the temperature sensor set to the lowest setting. The spa was brilliant, we used the gym, sauna steamer and pool and all were clean and well looked after. It’s a hell yeah from us!!”

“Not quite the 5 star experience that we were expecting. The hotel is very dated and could do with some TLC. The decking area outside of the bar was very dirty with holes in the seat covers and the whole are could do with a clean and a tidy up. You need to get up early for breakfast as there is limited seating for this and it gets extremely busy after 9am. The room was comfortable but it would have been great to have seats on the balcony so that you can sit and enjoy the view. I have stayed...

“Very big room, perfectly comfortable and bathroom was huge. Shower water pressure was excellent. Some peeling paint in the bedroom and noise insulation not as good as it could be - we could clearly hear the entertainment in one of the conference rooms underneath our room. Nice to have 2 types of pillow and book with ideas for what to do in the local area. Some of the reception spa staff were not as welcoming as the rest of the hotel (beautician was very helpful).
