“Really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful setting overlooking Swanage. Lovely gardens. Spa was a real treat. As with everthing not cheap, the drinks could have been priced more competitively, but most hotels have high bar prices for some reason?”

“It's a rare joy to find a hotel with in room controlled aircon. I'd rebook just for that! The hotel is a grand old place and parking is a nightmare. But it's well situated with a sea walk just yards from your door and a surprisingly quiet location close to town.”

“Clean, spacious room. Very comfortable stay. Staff polite and helpful. Very easy access to the beach. Slightly outside of town so limited selection of restaurants and cafes locally (recommend Goat & Tricycle pub down the road), but most of what you want is within 10 minutes' walk. Breakfast is fairly expensive for a standard hotel buffet. Okay if staying for a night or two, but would suggest skipping the buffet and going to a local cafe if staying longer. Much better food (and better value!).”

“Old Fashioned Hotel. Gardens. Right by the sea and close to the City Centre. Very good water pressure for shower. Had small double room which was fine as only there to sleep. A long walk to get to lift for my room. Charge £5 extra a day to use the pool. Exceptional service - best I've ever experienced. Stayed an extra night I was so comfortable there. Thank you.”

“ We love the location and have stayed here on a few occasions. We love how the hotel is so pet friendly. It’s accessible to Bournemouth and Swanage, plenty of walks from the hotel and close to the beach (especially for an early morning/ evening swim). Our dinner was lovely and the breakfast is plentiful. ”

Excellent staff, great facilities and a fantastic breakfast. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to use the pool and leisure facilities due to our own busy schedule, but next time we will be sure to plan less and do more! “Clean hotel and room. Excellent customer service and lovely Spa area with no time limitations. The Spa was only ten pounds each extra on top of our 3 night stay to use whenever we liked between 6am and 8am. Amazing x Breakfast was a variety of foods and was very delicious x”
