Southeast Georgia is a remarkable region characterized by grand old towns, sprawling marshlands and wide, sandy beaches. The region stretches from the Florida border to the southern banks of the Altamaha River. Along the harbor, check out Brunswick to experience Brunswick Old Town Historic District’s superb architecture. From Brunswick, embark on an adventure to Southeast Georgia’s magnificent barrier islands. Nearby, the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge provides opportunities for camping, hiking and wildlife watching amid pine and cypress forests.

Nice location, clean room, exceptional stay. The only negatives were there are lots of stairs and the elevator didn’t work (at least we couldn’t figure out how to use it). Also, if you have a car, parking spaces are limited.
