“We actually stayed at the sister accommodation around the corner. Lovely room and plenty of parking, close to shops a cafe and take away’s with the ferry actually in sight.”

“Excellent service from Joe our host. He sent a WhatsApp message before we arrived to help us find the place. Helped with bags in the morning and was a mine of local knowledge. Also provided an excellent breakfast and a comfortable bed. ”

“We stayed with our lovely hosts Jo and Jim at their beautiful B&B. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Lovely Jo showed us to our room and it really did exceed expectations. Breakfast was delicious with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and fresh coffee etc. Jo and Jim went over and beyond to make us feel at home. We will definitely be back. “We were visiting Kilkenny and chose Kate’s Rest to stay at. The owner was so kind and took the time to chat and help us with anything we needed, it was a very personable experience. We stayed in a beautiful apartment (we had one double and two twin beds) what came with a kitchen and lovely open shower. The views are unbelievable and it was a great location. We would highly recommend a stay at Kate’s Rest. ”
