“Hotel is OK but I was expecting something better. Staff was nice and kind, room and hotel quite clean; it was hot and rooms are not air conditioned, but the worst was windows are not allowed to open but a small space. Experience was not good at all, we could not sleep well because of hot. In adittion breakfast is fair but limited. For me is. 3.5/5”

“Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. Little did we know that the hotel was largely booked out by a huge wedding party, to even get to reception required us to gatecrash through their “private” BBQ held on the lawn in front of hotel. “The hotel is lovely. Well maintained with a beautiful air of nostalgia. We wandered the colorful and ancient city and made our way back to good fish and chips at the hotel bar. Breakfast was excellent and service grand. A great experience.”

Parking in their private car park was so convenient. I would definitely stay here again when I travel to Kilkenny.”

“Boutique hotel it was not, no aircon, expensive for what you got. The extractor in my bedroom was incredibly noisy, I measured it at 75dB. My fellow travellers were kept awake by the laundry machines which worked most of the night. Disappointing overall, would not recommend.”

“We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...
