"Room was good, checking in was also good. It seemed like one of the staff members was new and getting trained when we checked in. Easy access entering the building. Neither team member let us know which direction it was to our room. In the past that has been done. Plenty of towels in the room. In past stays there has been something to write on and write with in our rooms on the desk. (Not a complaint, just something I noticed.) We need to write something down and couldn't. Plenty of breakfast options. Only thing that was a miss. When we were leaving and eating breakfast, staff members were hard to find and no one was at the desk when we went to check out just a basket to place our room key. "

"We asked for a non smoking room. The hallway on our floor smelled like smoke, our window was open in our room, the tv was set to Spanish, and the people above us were loud during the night. We have to stay in Louisville again soon and I won’t be going back. Very grateful my husband was with us. "

"Our family spring break here was near prefect. Liked villa and French Lick hotel pools. Clean condo. Well stocked for cooking, laundry and relaxing in jacuzzi. One night out at Chicago Pizza was great and happy with bowling at FL Hotel. Did not like the steep walk from parking area and unloading supplies, etc. Kids favorites were at the activity center at FL Hotel. Cost for crafts and tye dye shirt making were reasonable with villa discount. Planning to return."

"When I booked, there was no indication that the property would be undergoing renovation work. When I got there, Reno work was heavily underway. From approximately 9am until 6pm every day, there was drilling or scraping, tools dropped, drywall and other debris taken down the elevator all day long. The workers were very kind and apologized when they noticed us waiting. Breakfast was a typical buffet style but always presented nicely. The area was very clean. Hotel staff were very kind all during my stay. I would have enjoyed a fluffier pillow and a bigger towel. "
