"Staff were friendly and helpful. Chilled water in the dining area was lovely since Regina water has a strange taste. We had a small issue in our room which staff dealt with promptly. The breakfast was typical of hotels these days - nothing to write home about. The morning coffee was delicious and hot. The hotel is convenient for the hospital, the airport, and some shopping."

"The staff were amazing and it was clean. I get they’re renovating but the pool area is very run down and the slide wasn’t working. They renovated the room we were in but they never changed out the rusty old tub. The hotel is older so the room was also quite small"

"We stayed one night at the Royal Hotel and it served the purpose well. The room was clean . There was a fridge but no microwave. Our room was on the second floor which was good as there is only one small elevator. We used the stairs. However there was no view from our window as it was completely obstructed by the building itself. Highlight was the breakfast as there were many options and a large seating space. However items like breads, bagels and French toast were kept in there original bags and people were reaching in with their hands rather than the tongs provided. The area has everything within walking distance and the location offere quick and easy access back to Hwy 1."
