Hotel Glenwood Springs

"As a mom of three, I always look for family-friendly hotels that are clean, comfortable, and worth the price. Hotel Glenwood Springs had some positives, but overall it fell a bit short of our expectations. The exterior of the property is well-maintained and gives a good first impression. However, once inside, the hotel feels somewhat dated and in need of updates. Our suite was spacious enough for our family, but the bathroom was disappointing. The shower was outdated, and there was visible gunk built up in the corner, which made it feel less clean than it should have been. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool. Our kids had a great time and looked forward to swimming each day, which helped make the trip enjoyable. The front desk staff were friendly, but they seemed fairly young and not particularly knowledgeable about some of the amenities and local offerings. When I asked about discounted tickets to Glenwood Hot Springs, I was told they were available through the hotel. However, the quoted prices were the exact same prices I had already found online, so there didn’t appear to be any actual discount. As for Glenwood Springs itself, I understand it’s a major tourist destination and that tourism drives the local economy. That said, we found many of the attractions and activities to be quite expensive for a family of five. While we enjoyed our visit, next time we may choose a different Colorado hot springs destination that offers a better value"

Old Faithful Inn - Inside the Park

"We loved this beautiful Inn! The property is like stepping back in time - amazing 4 story open lobby area with timber and stone everywhere. Lots of places to eat and nice gift shops all on the property. Old Faithful is just steps out the door, and there are beautiful walking and hiking paths all around to see the many geysers and hot spring pools. All the staff were very friendly and helpful also. Would definitely recommend!"

"This was very good hotel with excellent location in Yellowstone and services was great. However, it was bit darker inside the room. And GPS hit a hard time to find the Check in registration office. No more complain about this hotel."

"Room and casino were very clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great. Note that I think you have to pay extra to get access to the outdoor rooftop patio and hot tub"

Canyon Lodge & Cabins - Inside the Park

"The location was good; Close to Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Hayden Valley. Other locations were easily accessible. The lodge had NO internet. This made it very inconvenient for our 4 day stay. Check in process took a very long time even though we were pre-registered. Cleaning service only mad bed. The sink, shower, floor and coffee mugs were not cleaned. Dining options were limited in Canyon Village. Mediocre foods in both Canyon Eatery and Canyon Fountain and Grill. The room was extremely small. The sink was in the room and running water was not ideal when your spouse was sleeping. No TV, No fridge. No Internet! They tell you internet password but the service was down the entire time. I will NOT stay here."

Lake Yellowstone Hotel & Cabins - Inside the Park

"The hotel itself and the rooms are outdated - a very old structure. The floor directly above squeaked badly when people above walked or ran the water; you can hear everything above. PLEASE READ. Done intentionally by the facility - there is NO WIFI on the property. You will need other means to access wifi, perhaps your own hotspot. Also, there is no cellular service either. I have T-Mobile and could not acquire a signal anywhere on the premises. I like to be connected to family and loved ones while I'm gone; that is why the WIFI is important to me. The rooms have NO television either. However, the on-site restaurant had very good food. Service was good; the people working there were polite and helpful. For what they're charging you and what you get is not worth it. I would recommend perhaps staying elsewhere."
