“We had such a great experience here. The staff at the front desk Paul and Valicia were the best ! They went out of their way to help us out when we had an issue. The cabins were great, clean and comfortable. Very convenient location. Old faithful geyser is in walking distance. We had dinner at the Obsidian and the braised bison short ribs and the steak were cooked perfectly. Our waiters were also very friendly. All in all, we had such a great experience there that we already want to go back. ”

“What I loved, the beds and shower I miss already! The Ponderosa is currently undergoing a transformation and our room was clean with all new furnishings and windows. Small kitchenette with full size refrigerator. We walked everywhere but Mike can rent you a golf cart at a very reasonable price if you need. Food choices were all within a six or seven minute walk for us. Very quiet at night with no disturbances. We definitely will return. Mike was attentive and easy to reach. ”

“The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is a fantastic place to stay in Crested Butte. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the mountain. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. “This property is magical. I felt like we were in a little town in Switzerland or Germany with the cute buildings. Listening to the river at night was peaceful and we had a family of elk come for breakfast right to our door. We will be back for sure! ”

“This stay was unforgettable due to location and frequent animal sightings. The area along river was an attraction in itself. The only negative was no having climate controlled room (AC). It would have been less noticeable if the cabins were designed to let heat out of room with windows properly placed at top to let airflow cool room. All and all we loved the placed and would return again. ”
