“This hotel is really beautiful, comfortable and clean. Great location in downtown Madison. The staff were top notch! Had drinks in the bar--friendly, chic atmosphere. I have nothing negative to say except that I was lucky that this was not a longer stay so I didn't have to wash my hair. The shower water comes out almost dripping and there was no way I would've been able to get the shampoo out of my hair. No hyperbole here, it was the worst water pressure in my 50 year old life. ”

“The hotel was staffed by competent, friendly Midwesterners and was a cut above other budget hotels we've stayed in recently. Both the pool and hot tub were working, and the breakfast at the on-site Perkins was lovely, offering 3 (free) options. The cheese house and antique mall share the same general parking area. A short drive in to Tomah takes you to a movie theatre, cute town, park, and lake with a lovely walking path along its shore. We will definitely return.”

“We loved this property and will be back! It’s located just a few blocks past the shopping district which was perfect it kept us out of the hustle and bustle of the waterpark area while we were still drivable. (Under 5mins) it was nice to not hear kids running the halls and we had no issues at all. It was clean, staff was nice, and pool stayed open late! *Only down side is no elevator. But we managed fine as we were capable) ”

“Great value for the price. We usually stay at hotels priced $40-50 higher, and this was just as nice. Maybe a few less options at breakfast, but it was a nice place to stay.”

“Lovely hotel- great staff and especially loved the pool area. Only concern was the mustiness which clearly is something the staff are working on. Dehumidifiers lined the halls once most guests checked out. ”
