The Dylin

10/10 Excellent
"This has been my favorite new find in Madison! I have been commuting from Chicago to Madison for at least one overnight a week, for about 4 months, and about a month ago I saw The Dylin listed on Expedia. It isn't a "hotel" in the sense that it does not have staff on site for check in or to assist with luggage, parking, food. It is more like a hotel/apartment that is very clean, private, quiet, and so lovely! There is a coffee station in the lobby, but no cafe or shop to buy food on sight. No pool. Cool lobby, very spacious. When I book through Expedia, I get a "free parking" credit, otherwise it is $30 for one car to park in the private underground lot. The location is perfect, within walking distance to lots of fun things on the Isthmus. My room both times, books a studio, was absolutely perfect and ideal with a lovely kitchen stocked with plates, glasses, fridge. Shower is awesome. Only thing I would change is the lights in the room as the A/C unit has a bright temp display that I need to drape a cloth over, same with a few other lights in the room like something in the kitchen, and the thermostat. But as long as I bring a few extra clothing items to drape over the bright lights, I am all set. Gorgeous place to stay - and booking through Expedia made it affordable for me!"

"This hotel was great. Very clean and quiet. Who doesn’t love a cookie upon arrival? We liked that the front desk let us choose our room. Rooms are a little small but perfect. Parking is available but there are also garages close by that may be slightly cheaper. Would recommend for a weekend stay if you like being walkable to downtown."
