We had a fantastic stay! The rooms are so beautiful with the nature stone and wood accents. We loved the large soaking tub and super comfortable beds. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Room and location is stunning!!

A 2-3 minute walk to the 5 primary must-see sites in the palace, this is a fantastic location. From the minute you walk into the almost hidden doorway, to the small stone spiral steps up, this boutique hotel is pure magic. It captures the imagination of time long ago with original medieval building remnants woven with modern conveniences. 10/10!!

Loved this property so much. It's a super cool modern room in an ancient palace. The tile/glass shower has a sleek European feel on the front with a cool stone wall on the back. And I can't say enough about the heated tile floors! The host was outstanding! I arrived a day late because of a cancelled flight and had to stay an extra day for business. She could have charged me for an extra day but didn't! Great advice on local spots. I highly recommend this property!

MA de Dominis Is a lovely boutique in the center of old town split located within the walls of the palace! Prior to your arrival Ivana, the owner, messages you to give you information on how to get to the property and to see if you will need a car service set up. Upon arrival I was greeted by her lovely daughter Antonela who showed me to the room. Right from the start it was very apparent that there was a lot of love put into the property! There were details in every corner! The stone walls, the furniture, the shower with large stones in it.. the list goes on and on. The bed was super comfortable and the sheets were super crisp and clean!!! The shower was absolutely amazing!!! One button and it turns on. How cool is that! Honestly I can’t say how Impressed I was with this boutique property!! I myself own a historical boutique and being in the industry it made me so happy to see the quality and dedication that went into remodeling and decorating this property. No detail was spared. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough!!! When I travel to split this will be my go to spot!

This stay was amazing our room the location and STAFF! Cleaned and prepared daily. I have never received customer service like this ever at any hotel stay. Our flights canceled and delayed with late arrival and they had a member of the staff stay and escort us to our room. Our luggage was loaded the staff took a copy of our claim number and stayed in contact with the airport for three days to ensuring our luggage was delivered. When it was delivered they met with the delivery driver and took it to our room while we were out on an excursion. Unbelievable the lengths they went to show us hospitality. I would not stay any place while visiting Split then here. THANK YOU!

Ivana, the owner was amazing from the beginning to the end! Helped us with our luggage up the stairs, recommended and made reservations for dinner for us. Even paid our restaurant bill when for some reason our card didn’t go through and they contacted her. She didn’t bother to tell us that night and just mentioned it casually the next day. We paid her back of course. Her place is immaculate and charming, and the location can’t be beat! Smells nice too and just steps away from Diocletian’s Palace.

While this property is in a lovely location, please be aware that the staff does NOT knock before entering your room and will enter at random even when you are in your room. This can be extremely upsetting and made me feel very unsafe in this hotel.

Gorgeous family owned hotel

Beautifully renovated and very charming family owned hotel. One can tell that expenses were not spared during the renovation - expensive sheets, lush towels, latest key/light technologies. And most importantly, incredible hospitality. Dad and son picked us up at the airport, mom it does a the reception. They couldn’t have been nicer, we felt we were in great hands.
