I was the one that spoke with you when you made the request and as I mentioned at that time, we do not make specialty items as we are not able to accommodate the additional requests that always follow from other guests once we have made an exception. We regret that you were not able to stay. We are working with Expedia to determine what caused both of your reservations to be sent over to our system as cancelled. We have already ensured that Expedia has processed the refund to your reservation and their team should be in contact with you regarding the timing of that refund. We were notified on Saturday that the refund was processed by them. We would have loved to have you stay with us, but we did not have a room available to meet your reservation needs. I was on the phone with our Guest Services agent when they recommended the Harvest Inn as a wonderful alternative to our property in an attempt to assist with finding you reasonable accommodations elsewhere. I am happy to hear that the alternate property we recommended was satisfactory. We do our best to avoid this type of experience and regret that we were not able to have you stay with us.
