"Served its purpose for me. Very convenient. You can walk across the street to the terminal and rental car return at FAT airport. Didn't really hear any plane noise. Hotel is showing its age but was top of the line in its day. Room was clean and updated. Breakfast was good."

"Booked for 2 nights and called to alert that I would be missing the first night due to schedule change and to keep existing reservation for second night. The following morning my reservation was canceled and charged 2 nights but I was not allowed to check in the second night. It was canceled Saturday morning before 3pm check in."

"I’ll start with the good… The breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in our stay. I could smell smoke in my room, even though it was smoke from outside. The bathtub looked dirty. And the TV didn’t work. When I brought it up, he tried to tell me how to fix it, but that did not work. When I went down again, they basically shrugged their shoulders, and I was forced to try to fix it myself. Two other people were also complaining about the TV. The fitness center was just a treadmill and a multiple workout station. Unfortunately the workout station had a broken cable with no signs saying not to use it. This could’ve easily been a hazard, waiting to happen. Also, I reserved my room weeks ago and when I tried to check in, they could not find my room and told me they weren’t sure they had one. Unfortunately, the service was very slow and check-in took almost 15 minutes. I have stayed at La Quinta Inn before, but I will not stay at this one ever again"

"Having never spent any time in Fresno, I had no idea how rundown downtown is. Although nothing happened in particular that made me feel unsafe it was clear to me this is not the part of the city Fresno is proud of. The room was just ok. Only one lamp worked in the main room, there was a cigarette burn on the bedspread and the light switch next to the door (which didn’t work) was loose. I honestly, thought about looking for another hotel in a different part of town but was tired and just needed some rest. “You get what you pay for.” Yes, 100% but I’ve stayed in hotels that cost less and were much nicer. That all said, it was quiet and the a/c worked great. The man at the front desk was nice and was helpful. Was it my ideal place to stay? Not even close, but I did get some sleep and that’s the important part."
