They claim to clean the room every 2 days , we had three rooms as it was a family trip and 2 out of the 3 room were supposedly cleaned at day 4 after almost begging daily and no changes on towels , no changes on sheets …when we arrived at middle afternoon we had to demand for the rooms to be properly cleaned. Our own room in 5 nights was cleaned once and the hot water only worked on night 1 … all other nights we had to have cold showers ”

“Awesome hotel and easily the best one in Pietermaai. The rooms was nice although it could have been nice with more storage space. Very clean and fresh and everything was in order. The cleaning personnel and the people working the reception was super nice. But the service at the Lemon Beach restaurant have a lot to learn when it comes to service and taking care of hotel guests. “There are not a lot of restaurants, supermarkets close to the property. The pool is really nice but please add parasols. Many chairs are in the sun all day. It’s very inconvenient and dare I say dangerous. Staff friendliness depends. They are very nice at the breakfast. The mini market could have more variety of products and is way too expensive. 9$ US for a bag of chips is a rip off. ”

“Paid for 3 night's stayed for 1. Studio was a shoebox, no hot water, shower head was not adjustable and water came out very hard. I had to stand on the side of the shower and stick limbs in for a quick wash. Restaurants in the area seem to have good reviews but we tried 2 and was unimpressed. I wasn't expecting fancy but a decent shower and an actual door instead of a screen would be nice. Could hear everything outside and above us.”
