"It was OK for a boutique type motel. Some cost-cutting was evident as the cheap mini blinds were broken and I had to put a towel up over the window in the bathroom because the slats were missing. Other than that it’s an OK place."

"This lodge is a hidden gem. The property is beautiful, clean and the staff is very polite. The food at the on-site restaurant was excellent and so was the service. If you’re looking for a quiet get away this is the place. I’m not sure if they allow it but this would be an excellent wedding venue. "

"Worth the drive from FSU!! Lovely hotel, spacious, gorgeous rooms and we had 4 rooms for our family that were perfect. Beds were comfy, jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, first class all the way. Luckily we booked 8 months in advance so we got a good rate. A bit of price gouging for graduation time but not as bad as in Tallahassee! Very enjoyable stay and I highly recommend it!"

"The property is well maintained and since it was the off-season, it was very quiet. It's not the Ritz, but it is clean and no offensive odors. The continental breakfast was served daily and it was freshly prepared and sufficient. The staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. All in all, a pleasant stay. Be aware - there is a $100.00 damage deposit that is not mentioned on Expedia's website. Also, there is a $20.00 per night fee for pets that is not mentioned on Expedia's website."
