"The hotel is very well located. The room was spacious and clean. The beach view was lovely. Breakfast was good but there was no staff at the omelette/pancake station."

"If I could give it zero stars I would. An absolute shambles of a place. Do not bother staying here. We are disabled and were put on the 5th floor with no access to a lift. None of bedrooms advertised online was not what we stayed in. The windows were moldy, broken, held together by tape, gap at the bottom so constant draft coming through. No soap provided in the bathroom, no mat in the shower my husband nearly slipped. No one to speak to on the front desk as everything is done via WhatsApp. Completely disconnected from any human interaction and basic hotel quality. Absolutely disgusting. Just don't bother."

"Stay was good. Bed could have been comfier with no extra pillows. The fan wasn’t working so we asked the staff at the desk and he got it sorted quickly with good communication. We also asked for additional cutlery which was delivered to our room too. Breakfast was good with veg options also provided when asked for. overall stay was great with lovely staff!"

"What a brilliant couple of days at Hotel du Vin Brighton, the the reception staff are so friendly and helpful, we upgraded our room -it was ready early so checked in at 12, room was fabulous had a little patio area which was great as the weather was lovely, free standing bath and walk-in shower could have wished for anything better. We had breakfast both morning so much choice the cooked breakfast was brilliant, Lovely addition is the roof top bar area and courtyard which was great with the lovely sunshine,all the staff were so friendly, Would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Brighton great location for the lanes"

"Sadly disappointing stay compared to my last stay. The room was small, the floorboards were so creaky and loud. I couldn't even walk from one side of the room to the other without the loudest creaking. I was woken by a couple arguing, shouting and banging on my first morning and the second morning, I was woken by the shower spotlight fitting loudly dripping water constantly whilst the occupants above were showering. The bed was also far too hard my hips were hurting. Staff are lovely but I won't be staying again."
