โThe owner was was very friendly, welcoming & helpful. The guest house was beautifully decorated & furnished & spotlessly clean. The shower in my ensuite bathroom was very spacious & easy to access. The breakfast in the dining room was delicious with plenty of choice. There were fresh flowers on each table which I thought was a nice touch. โWe were only here one night, but I loved staying in this flat! It was a real insight into how people live their everyday lives in a city the size of Oxford. Manu was excellent about communicating with us and made sure we would have no trouble finding the flat or getting into it. I wish we could have stayed here longer, and I would definitely reach out to him again if I ever travel back this way!โ

The food was excellent quality, the rooms were super clean, its easy to get into oxford from there and the above all else the staff went above and beyond.

โA wonderful older hotel and restaurant. I stayed in the tiny single room - this is not a complaint, itโs a great little room for one person.
Some people in reviews have complained about road noise - they should be realistic about their expectations. Itโs an old property right next to a road. If you are someone thatโs sensitive to road noiseโ
โThis was a great place to stay. I didnโt manage to enjoy the breakfast (it smelt lovely) as I was up early for work. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. My only tiny comment would be that the towels were a little thin and stiff, but that didnโt impact my stay! My room was on the front and theyโve managed to make sure โ

Unfortunately, my room was on the 3rd floor, and with no lift at the premises made it difficult to carry heavy suitcases via the stairs.โ
