“We just had a standard double room, I was suprised how nice it was for the price. The hotel itself is lovely, such a beautiful place. There are a few animals outside to feed, an outdoor bar area. The bar inside is great and reasonably priced. The food is AMAXING ”

“Lovely staff, all friendly and proud of the Inns History. We were there on a very quiet night! Lovely large room with a 4 poster bed and excellent bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast beat us, freshly prepared as we came down. ”

“Cleanliness was excellent, no restaurant for most of my stay. Walls in room are paper thin, so can hear everything in next room! Overall, booking in process very good, room was very good… maybe don’t place guesses in rooms next to staff, especially if they are ill and cough all night long!!! ”

“Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. “I didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment, but it looked fresh. Had a coffee but was luke warm, could not be warmed up as it was from a machine. Staff super helpful when I requested to move to a bigger room. Manager was very helpful too. The only thing that let the hotel down is that the walls and floors could be thicker, a family that were staying seemed to let their children run free, up and down the corridors! Was annoying. Could not hear the traffic noise at all. Aircon was nice....
