“Very disappointing. This hotel was rated very good an 8.4 but it was far from it. It is very dated and it was dirty and smelled musty. The lamp shades were stained and the lamps were rusty and old. There was mould and dirt all around the window and baseboards. I do NOT recommend this hotel.”

“The room was very nice and quaint. We loved the location. It was so quick and easy to walk to downtown Keene. We had to rent a cot to make it accommodate 3 people. I guess we had missed the fine print in the Expedia listing that said it would work for 3 if a cot was added. The building felt secure and was well taken care of. We’d consider staying here again if we return to the area. ”

“I was unable to have breakfast during my stay”

“The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...

“What a warm and welcoming place to stay. Beds and pillows were super comfortable, very clean room. Common areas were cozy and clean. You will never find a better breakfast than the 3 course meal we had. Local yogurt, homemade lemon curd, with homemade granola and berries. Then wonderfully cooked frittata with Crème fraîche, local sourdough toast, and a bed of nice greens and radishes. Then the most amazing citrus olive oil cake. There is coffee, tea and homemade cookies always available....

“The rooms were clean but were starting to show signs of age. The bed would squeak and the mattress would sink in the middle. There was a fly in the room, which took forever to get it out. I thought the decor was nice. The concept is of Airbnb rooms but within a hotel. There’s no onsite front desk but there’s daily maintenance it seems. The living room lodge is cozy, the free cocoa/coffee was great, and the game room/pool was nice. Overall, it was a great value and would gladly return. ”

“Great hotel for a weekend getaway. Very walkable neighborhood too!”

“It is a place to sleep not a hotel. It is overpriced and its an old place, the foom has wall mounted AC looks like pics on 70’s. Water was cold. The room door is sliding glass to see the dry swimming pool with curtains. I just stayed one night.”
