Maui Schooner Resort

"We arrived at 10pm and office closed at 6, so we panicked a bit about how we could check in, but there is a phone on the wall outside the office to call the after hours security, and he was friendly and helpful, and got us our room keys (major relief!). Room is not fancy but very spacious, we had 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Giant bathroom and closet in master, nice king size bed, and black out curtains. Kitchen seemed to be well stocked with essentials but we didn’t use more than the fridge and coffee pot, which they did have basket filters and a few servings of coffee available (could purchase additional). Nice Tommy bahama beach chairs for use, and a cooler, which was a very useful bonus, in the room. In the office you can borrow snorkels, fins, boogie boards, etc for free- also super handy. Tennis court was in rough shape but lots of people out playing on it so I guess was still usable. Beach across from it was not one of those picturesque ones, so we didn’t hang out there more than a quick morning walk. Overall I would definitely stay there again for the price and value. Not too far from airport and other things in the local town- about 10min to grocery store, etc, but we didn’t actually hang around the area much."

"Nice room, smallish like most rooms on Maui. Cute outdoor seating area with lots of plants and trees for shade. The downside is parking, very narrow and hard to turn around. Thankfully we had a smaller car and could manage."

"We loved the three resident cats on the property and the whispering pine trees with hammocks. A very serene and peaceful place with nice breakfast buffet and real chill vibes. Cool wildlife too - geckos, anoles, toads, snails, and birds. Overall a lovely place. Best of all ... The staff was nice, helpful, and just all around great folks."

"The apartment is beautiful, in the living room you have a couch that it's also a doble bed and it is very comfortable. You have the air conditioner, the tv and a table for 4 persons. Then you have the hall, you have there a closet with vacuum, broom and cleaning products and also a washer and dryer. Behind the hall you have the kitchen, with the fridge, oven and stove, microwave, coffee maker and glases, cups, silverware, plates and pots to cook. In the bedroom you have a queen bedroom with walk in closet. You also have at the entrance hall a closet with chairs for the beach with a umbrella. And tou have also a balcony with a table for 4. The community is beautiful, pack with plants, a pool and a jacuzzi, showers and 2 grils you can use for free, also the community is very quiet. Aaron (the host) was very nice, we communicated thought email, didnt have any problem and I did a late check out (obviously loke any hotel). The apartment is well located. I will definitely going back to tĥat apartment, and I recommend it."
