"What a great find! Walking distance to central station. The rooms are compact but the layout makes it work and not feel cramped at all. The decor was really different, industrial vibe. Loved it!. The beds were next level comfort. The pillows, linen and bed it self was divine. Would stay here again."

"Staff were absolutely fantastic- From the moment i walked in the door, the doorman greeted me and helped me with my luggage. Throught my stay staff were great! The room was large, clean and made up every day. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of sydney close to many shops and a short walk to public transport if going a bit further away. Even at the very end of my stay the doorman not only helped me with my luggage out but he also advised me the platform to take at the closest train station back to the airport. Solo traveller this trip but I will most certainly return to the Paradox for another stay when back in Sydney- either a solo or family trip."

"When you search for 2 adults and 3 children, a room at the Rydges hotel comes up and offers you a family suite. Many hotels will say unavailable as most family rooms will only accommodate 4 people. We didn’t expect that we would have to pay an extra $80 on top of the $550 we already paid for an extra bed to accommodate the 3rd child. If they are advertising that the room suits 5 people, that should be included in the price, otherwise don’t advertise it as sleeping 5 people. We didnt pay the extra $80 and our son slept on pillows on the ground as there was no couch that he could sleep on either. Felt like it was false advertisement. "
