“The host was very welcoming and tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. It is also possible to have dinner at Gite Likemte, which in my case was very tasty couscous. The view from the terrace is scenic, especially during sunrise and sunset. The rooms and facilities were comfortable and clean, in particular when considering that Tacheddirt is a rather remote mountain village. I can recommend staying there.”

“We stayed for a few nights as a family with two young kids and loved the farm environment with its playground and games like football and table tennis. The family room was lovely, with beautiful gardens, hot showers, and very comfortable beds. Breakfast on the sun terrace was delicious and set us up perfectly for the day. We did a guided walk in the area and also spent time relaxing by the river near the restaurant. Do bring paints or pens for the kids, as there isn’t much else to do nearby...

“Great place to stay, so clean, so calm and with good breakfast, the staff are friendly and are speaking English, Arabic, French.. If you come at night you should consider calling property managers first to help you access and to guide you as it’s a small village, it would be preferable to check in during the day.”

It’s a beautiful haven of tranquility set in a spectacular landscape with the call to prayer reasoning down the valley. We highly recommend a break here. “Beautiful room and pool. Easy walk to lake and village. Staff very friendly and willing to help but we would have appreciated some details in the room about organisational issues eg that water would not be replaced in the room but was readily available at the bar. Would definitely recommend hotel for a quiet, restful break.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Chez Momo II. The views from the hotel are breathtaking and there is able patio space to relax and take in the surroundings. Food at the hotel was phenomenal and very reasonably priced. Staff was very easy to work with and accommodating. I would highly recommend going for a guided hike to the “top of the world”. Ask for a guide by the name of Mohammed to show you around. Highly recommend this area of Morocco and this hotel specifically. ”

“The Ecolodge was amazing set in the picturesque low Atlas mountains. From the moment we arrive the team working there could not have made us feel more welcome and looked after. The swimming pool was a welcome relief as we arrived in a heat wave. Unfortunately due to the heat, we could not do our planned trek, but the pool and service from the team made up for it.
