“The property has had a major refurb and is almost too good to be true. It was very busy saturday/sunday but the staff were always available and helpful. Room 19 is “accessible” which means a wet room bathroom and lots of space. Really a lovely place to stay but maybe too dog friendly?? Not cheap but worth every penny. Nice breakfast and nice breakfast service.”

“We had a fantastic time , Jenny is a prefect host. We arrived in the afternoon, used they pool and garden, then the next day she allowed us to use the pool again after check out time. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cosy. It was a very hot day/night, she provided a fan and we managed to stay cool. Turns out she comes from my home town, so we had a lot to chat about. We just needed some peace and quiet to relax after a difficult week. Thank you Jenny for a wonderful stay.”

“My bijou little room was on the first floor of the inn (as opposed to some rooms they have in separate buildings). Quite a nice little room but no view and I had to climb onto the bed to open the velux window. When I opened the bathroom window I had unfortunate cooking smells from the kitchen extractor which was a few feet away, so I only opened it outside meal times. There was no information in the room so I had to wait until the morning to get the WiFi code - I think this should have been...

“We stayed in the coach house which was ideal for us with our dog. Dinner - fish and chips was good and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were really accommodating and made us welcome. Really good atmosphere in the bar which was well populated with locals.”
