It's also about a 10-15 walk to the historic Dihua street, one of the oldest areas of the city which was once the main market area (still lots of interesting shops there that cater to the local...good photo opps too with some older buildings)

Excellent location and very helpful staffs

This is the 2nd time I stayed in this hotel. Though the decoration looks old, the staffs keep it clean and they are very friendly. The most important is the hotel location is very good as it is easy to ride on bus/subway (go to airport).

Fully recommended hotel in the busy street

The staffs are very friendly and offer to help whenever needed. It located in a busy street. Easy for the transportation, shopping and eating. The room size is big and the price is attractive. The only downside is the decoration is old but it is no problem because the room is clean. Fully recommended.

It's located right next to Zhongshan Station, making it a very convenient location for getting around Taipei City. Considering the location, the price is very reasonable, but the facilities are a bit old. The shower in the bathroom had hot water at night, but there was no hot water in the morning. Also, there was no shower curtain, which made it a little difficult to use. Overall, I think it's a good place to stay if you prioritize location and want to stay on a budget.

Location is next to a mall and MRT. Easy to get from airport getting off at Zhongshan (browse pictures of the building entrance). On the first night I got a room in the front that was noisy due to traffic, but staff was kind to give me a quiet room in the back. They were also nice to let me briefly use a room after I had checked out. The hotel is "hidden" inside a building on the 7h floor, which is odd, but fun. Room, furniture, bathroom, dexor are old, but I think it is part of the experience visiting Taiwan. The room had very good AC and a refrigerator, which is essential since there is no breakfast/food.

The night we arrived we could smell cigarettes in the hallway. One towel had a big hole in it. Bathroom doesn't have a shower curtain, so it is hard to take a shower.

去年も泊まりまして今回で2度目です。他の方も書いてますがフロントの周りに部屋がある為声が筒抜けです。建物が古く街中の音も聞こえます。静かに休みたい方には向きませんが立地とお値段が安いので私はまた利用するかも。 フロントはお掃除のおば様たちが兼用してる感じ。チェックアウト時にはおば様がパンを食べながら出てきて笑えましたが… 注意点はフロントは7階です。あと二月でも部屋に蚊がいました。

昭和の風情を感じます。清潔ですし、対応もとてもよいですが、古い雑居ビルにあるので、非日常的ではないです。夜寝るだけの方ならベストですが、ホテルの内装が近代的で内装もこだわる方には向かない宿泊所だと思います。ビジネスの方が定宿にしている方も多いとおもいます。

駅近・セキュリティ・ロケーション・スタッフ対応どれを取っても大満足でした 但し一点 残念な点 それは部屋に設置の湯沸かしポット コーヒーを飲むためお湯を沸かしましたら なんか違和感 よく見ましたらポット内上部に 油がこびりついていていました 恐らくマナーの悪い方 （日本人はそんな事しませんが）が ポットで調理したと思います そのポットの状態を見逃していた点が 雄一の減点ポイントです それさえなければ 不満無しの五つ星です 又利用したいと思います
