  • Q Square mall-- not exactly a tourist destination (there are many malls in Taipei) but it's a nice mall located close to Taipei Main station (Metro/MRT) if you're looking to escape the heat. Huge food courts here too with lots of options (and obviously shopping). This mall also has a movie theatre, which shows mostly American movies (but cheaper). It's also about a 10-15 walk to the historic Dihua street, one of the oldest areas of the city which was once the main market area (still lots of interesting shops there that cater to the local...good photo opps too with some older buildings)

Room was clean, amenities were good, location was good, and stuff was very kind. Water pressure in the shower room was very strong which I loved. They also kept our luggage after checking out. You can’t throw out the paper to the toilet so just be careful with that. Overall I had a great stay here.

Easy check in process. Room was available ahead of 3pm so we get in early. Basic setup up but very clean and having a bathtub is a plus. Location is amazing, close to MRT (exit Y21 is 3 mins walk) and airport express train (3-4 mins walk). Walking distance (less than 10 mins) to Ningxia night market and Dihua Street.

The rooms were a bit compact but comfortable. The bathroom was big, but the shower tub it was high to enter and exit. Very cleaned. Close to train station, restaurant, shops and convenience stores.

This hotel is about 100m from Taipei airport mrt station. The rooms are quite big and clean. The first to third levels belo g to the hotel. Reception staff are usually not at the counter.

Great location but facilities can be improved

The location is excellent, just one block from airport MRT, which makes it ideal for quick and easy arrival to the hotel after landing in Taoyuan airport. Plenty of food selections nearby and quick access to Taipei underground walkways. The facilities, however, can be further improved. My greatest disappointment was the bathroom shower and the air conditioning. The water temperature of the bathroom shower fluctuates constantly making it hard to enjoy a nice shower. The room temperature fluctuates between 22'C and 25'C despite being set at 24'C.

The location for this hotel is great! Close walking distance to Ningxia night market, Ximending and most importantly, to Taipei Main station. In about 5 minutes you can walk most of the way to the hotel to the train station via the underground Taipei city mall which is especially helpful if the weather is bad. The room was modern and clean. We got this hotel very last minute and unfortunately had the room on 1st floor without windows. Having no windows was not a problem. The problem was that it is used as an extension of the lobby ( otherwise there isn’t really a lobby) and small tables and chairs are placed in hallway immediately outside our room door. We could hear everything a person did if they were sitting outside our door. They weren’t being noisy… but it’s just 2-3 feet from our door. From inside with our door closed, we could hear people outside cough or even turning the pages of a newspaper! We would probably stay here again, just a different floor.

Check in was a breeze but they wouldnt entertain any check-ins before 3pm, though u can leave your luggages at the lobby area. Location was good, a short walk from the Taipei Main station and Di Hua Street.
