I had a very pleasant stay at the Marriott Courtyard Taipei Downtown. The hotel is clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and polite throughout my stay, always willing to help with a smile. The location is convenient, and the overall experience was comfortable and relaxing. I truly appreciated the excellent service and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Taipei and would recommend this hotel to others.

Public transportation, people, and proximity to everything were perfect, and yet away from the hussle and bussle. Property is impeccable. Staff is very accomodating. For those who don't speak any chinese, no problem... Just a wonderful property.

Excellent hotel, location not so great

The hotel itself seems quite new and is very clean and well-organized. The staff speaks good English and is very helpful. The breakfast was pretty good; not as many options as some buffets and mostly Chinese dishes but overall pretty tasty and convenient. The location is just OK. It's not really close to anything in particular but there are restaurants nearby and some convenience store. If you walk about 0.5 miles you can get to more restaurants although it is a very local area so not much English language or menu options but pointing at pictures worked well enough for me :). If you have business near the hotel it is good. For me, I would stay at a place more convenient to my needs on a future stay although the hotel was truly in excellent condition and I had no problems with my stay at all.
