  • Q Square mall-- not exactly a tourist destination (there are many malls in Taipei) but it's a nice mall located close to Taipei Main station (Metro/MRT) if you're looking to escape the heat. Huge food courts here too with lots of options (and obviously shopping). This mall also has a movie theatre, which shows mostly American movies (but cheaper). It's also about a 10-15 walk to the historic Dihua street, one of the oldest areas of the city which was once the main market area (still lots of interesting shops there that cater to the local...good photo opps too with some older buildings)

master hotel - hard to find

hard to find, no lobby. the lobby is an office desk, no external signage. Rabbit wareen to find your way to the room. on a positive note, its inside a shopping centre. Once you know where to go, i guess ok.

The location is excellent surrounded by shopping mall and transportation hub. Even rainy days, you don’t have to worry about bringing an umbrella since you can shop around.

Location is super, shopping mall and food court downstairs. Metro, local rail, Airport Express Rail and bus station are next to apartment. Some apartment units with small kitchen depends on your luck. Room is spacious. But pls aware no staff can assist you if needs after 9:30pm as they off from work.

syggest hotel to install bidet spray in d toilet

basically place is hard to find for 1st time but location is very convenient and room is big n equipped w heater but will b better if toilet has bidet spray... Staff allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier which is much appreciated as we were tired since we arrive at 7am 1 of d male staff was not so helpful as he peomised to call me reqgarding my reqyest but failed to do so

We booked a room with twin beds and got the highest floor with a balcony. Toiletries were provided and room was clean. The water pressure for shower was good. Hair dryer was available in the room. Other provided items in the room: coffee and tea, bottled water, disposable slippers. Walking distance to Q Mall and Taipei Bus Station.

Convenient location. Disposable slippers were provided in the room. Everything was good but the tray in the shower cubicle was too small to put additional shower gels/shampoos. It would be good to have a bigger tray in the shower cubicle.

very conveniently located with access to all forms of transportation, food and shopping. we had requested for a room that we had previously stayed in but were given another due to some hiccups in the communication. the first room was a little dated and too dim. the staff on duty Mr Huang was very patient with our request for a change of room, and luckily he managed to get what we wanted at Block B 18th floor the next day. it was newer, brighter and has a better layout which makes it feel bigger. we also requested for a no-bathtub bathroom. it has a drying system which also helps in drying wet towels n laundry. however, it takes a really long while to adjust the shower temperature, and this wasted a lot of water..... not all the units are under Master's management. others could be private residential units . also note that the hotel counter service is only from 9.30am to 9.30pm. so do always remember to bring your one set of door card because no staff can help you unlock your room after 9.30pm. there is a security guard on duty for the building (not hotel staff) whole day, but i do not know how much help can they render. overall, it was a pleasant stay. we will be very specific with our room request the next time we come back.

Great location, big and clean room. I stayed 5 nights in this service apartment. It’s in the different side of the building from the office. After checking in someone will take you to the room. The location is very convenient and lots of restaurants I definitely will stay again next time in the city

Not a Hotel (more Serviced Residence)

The Reception is not where your hotel will be. It is part of a old and run down apartments. Only stay here if you expect a bed and nothing else.

Reception opening at 09:30 is not great, when we checked in we got given a very small room with 2 single beds, not what I booked. Room should have been 46sqm and at least one double. English was a massive problem and unable to understand my issue. The booking confirmations did not describe what I booked and therefore unable to show them to help understand and rectify, as far as they were concerned it had 2 beds and that was it. It did make the stay somewhat less enjoyable and the annoyance of not getting what I paid for isn’t great with little I can do or could do.

The first room that we were given were located at level 11 and it was a very old and dirty room with torn curtains, rusty cupboards, bed frames, door and balcony. Totally different from the photos shown online. Worse was the lights turned on and off by itself, the sound of the aircon was also getting louder as the sky gets darker. We suspected if was haunted!! we requested to change the room and was changed to a room located at level 12. This room was much cleaner.. but the lights at the toilet was also blinking non stop. There were also loud knocking on our wall at nights.. is was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable stays. It definitely ruined our holidays. The only plus point is the location. Will i stay here again when i am in taipei, the answer is definitely NO.

台北駅直結のマンションをホテルとして提供しているので、立地条件は抜群。ヒーター付きバスルームで、夜洗濯物を乾かす事が出来た。バルコニーには、バーカウンターもあってオシャレな間取りとなっている。暖房もしっかり効いて快適に過ごすことが出来た。
