The hotel was a bit outdated however the location made up for it. I love the fact that there were lots of convenient stores within steps from the hotel and excellent restaurants. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. Even though our room had windows there was no view so we kept the curtains closed. If you are looking for a great location this hotel is it

Older building with character and great location. Walk to the night market, the pier, or the MRT station. 7-11 is just outside for added convenience. The building has its cracks and bubbling wallpaper, but the staff keeps it clean and tidy. Overall, a great stay.

The breakfast was good, but it was focused on Asian style foods I was not accustomed to. However, you can request fried or scrambled eggs and they are happy to make them for you. Hotel is in a pretty good location and you can walk to several places or subway within 10-15 minutes.

Great hotel. We stayed in Taipei for 4 days, and this hotel worked wonderful for our needs. Central location, AC, and we even had 2 large twins together that made it a king bed. A small refrigerator in the room, and we asked for ice once a day, which they were happy to help with. Very clean hotel, we were very impressed with our stay.

Very convenient location, close to a "Circle" and station. Old, but well-maintained, had a comfortable stay. Our room faced to building across the thin street, so was dark even in the morning, but not a big problem because went out. Breakfast selection was limited.

Older but well kept. Arrived early morning from Seattle thinking we could run around the city till checkin. Did nt have dedicated room to hold luggage so we paid for extra night as we not as young as we used to be. We were lucky to get a free upgrade and room. Better choice would be to get it ahead of time. Popular location and kind staff. Good breakfast buffet. Should have spent more time in Taipei. Malls near Taipei 101 blew our minds.

The only problem was that our room was a little smelly because of a little problem with flushing toilet.we took three rooms and the other two were great .the problem was not bad enough for us to bother to ask to change rooms

Friendly staff gave helpful tourist tips to this English-speaking traveler. Nice location. The convenience store ten yards away was a great amenity. Main Station and a big metro station are within walking distance. Bathroom sink drain was slow. Bathtub spa was luxurious, but I only had time to use the shower. Be aware that some rooms do not have a window. So spend more time outside exploring wonderful Taibei!
