A lovely and luxurious stay. The buffet breakfast was diverse and delicious, and the spa is really spectacular. The staff was also remarkably generous and helpful. What a perfect way to begin our travels in Taiwan.
The staff at this hotel are extremely friendly and attentive—from the front desk to the shuttle drivers and restaurant staff.
Breakfast is complimentary every day, and the staff are constantly clearing tables to keep the dining area clean and comfortable.
If you are carrying luggage, they immediately step in to help without hesitation. Even a simple glance at any staff member is enough for them to ask if you need assistance.
The room is cleaned daily, with fruit and snacks thoughtfully restocked every day. You can regularly see the cleaning crew throughout the hotel, which truly shows their attention to cleanliness and detail.
My wife especially enjoyed both the public hot spring and the in-room hot spring.
The shuttle service is always on time, making transportation easy and stress-free. I also heard that a new and improved online shuttle reservation system is in the works, which will make booking much easier for visitors who do not have phone service to call and make reservations.
An outstanding stay with excellent service and care in every detail. Highly recommended.
The staffs are friendly & helpful. The lobby is beautiful. Breakfast is good. Outdoor hot spring is amazing. Though the location is a bit far away from the station, there is shuttle bus available.
Very warm hearted personalised service from all staff at the hotel, from the driver to porter and the reception. Had such a great sleep after soaking in the in room hot spring and lying on the smooth luxurious bed.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everything was great from the hot spring tub in the room to the delicious breakfast buffet. The services provided by the front desk staff were especially impressive with Darren really going above and beyond to help us! We would definitely stay again at this hotel when we return to Taiwan.
A nice Beitou hotel with hot spring in room, super friendly staffs, spacious room design and nice breakfast, walkable to town center and subway station, etc...Thanks.
All the staff are so attentive and excellent service. Very detail oriented hotel, with heated toilet seats, treats in the room, easy access to hot springs. Would highly recommend!
A modern, clean hot spring hotel that pampers you once you step in. Staff are very polite and when they show you to your room, they leave their shoes outside! Very spacious room with hotspring tub and excellent in house made petit fours on welcome. Good semi buffet breakfastin the restaurant. The outdoor hotspring is gorgeous. Walkable to major tourist spots. Hotel also provide shuttle service to 2 mrt stations. Front desk staff Sean, Holly, n Meggy are really helpful😍
I had a great time at the Gaia! The public onsen is very relaxing and serene, the facilities are clean and the room is comfortable and modern. Housekeeping leaves snacks and fruit for free in your room every day in addition to the free drinks in the mini fridge. Staff is also very polite and friendly. It’s a great place to stay while exploring the wonderful Beitou neighborhood and the nearby Yanmingshan National Park.
It’s a bit distance from the main MRT station but they offer shuttle bus every hour to and from the Beitou MRT station. It’s very close to the Thermal valley and the Hot spring museum (less than 4 minutes). The facilities were nice and the staffs were attentive and super friendly. I would recommend my friends to come here.

Very good people
Very good service and people. Equipments including lights and safe were not working properly. Wish list:
1. Hand soap should be provided.
2. Hot Spring bath hour should start earlier than 7am.
3. More local breakfast menu.
Not good: The room is small and the in-room hot spa is not big enough. The location is a bit far away from the nearest city center.
Good: The room is clean and tidy. Restaurants in the hotel are good (both food and service are excellent). Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel public hot spa is good.
The Gaia Hotel Taipei is a gorgeous resort hotel but it lacks vicinity entertainment. We aimed at a relaxing one-night stay with hot spring. So, it was satisfactory to our plan.
We had fantastic pre-fixed dinner courses with a few choices for salad, soup, and entree.
The included breakfast was average except the porridge.
The hotel is located about 3/4 mile from Beitou MRT station. There is a hotel shuttle service running every hour, but it's not impossible to walk if you don't mind the moderately steep slopes at the near end.
I'd recommend this to anyone who likes to have a relaxing stay and to pay for it.

Very Good Service but food is not as expected.
Staff are very polite and friendly. Hotel is a small premises. Hot spring is real natural spring water, rather than other hotels around using hot water from boiler, Or adding spring water powder to tap water.
Room size is Ok if you choose the deluxe room. Food not fit out stomach, a little salty, although the chef had creative ideas on it.
Cake & bread are delicious. All staffs in hotel are excellent service.
The staff are always with a smile. I must give the security guard credit. He is very helpful. With my limited Chinese, he helped me to explain to the driver(s) where I wanted to go. We also enjoyed an unexpected guest. When we sat beside the window for breakfast, we saw a turtle outside looking at us. It belonged to the hotel. We really had a good time.
I can't believe it's a five-star hotel. I can hear the words clearly in the hallway from the room. It's not soundproofed at all. And as soon as you open the door, you encounter a bed. It's below the level of deluxe rooms in a five-star hotel. The lights on the air controller disturb the sleep. Maybe it's because of hotel policy, but there was no amenities, such as toothbrush, at all. It was the most expensive of the three hotels I stayed in on this trip to Taiwan, but the facilities were the cheapest. Even considering the availability of hot springs, the hotel's facilities were way short for the price. But the staff are kind. The hot spring is good.
