I stayed during Pitt parent weekend. Everything went well except for when I checked in. The receptionist didn’t explain the valet very well and I ended up paying more than she stated. Besides this one situation, I would recommend anyone visiting Pittsburgh to stay here.

Go eat at the train station in stare yum and go to the strip in Pittsburgh
The Oakmont Bakery was the best we've ever visited. Picked up a sheet cake from there which was outstanding. Chelsea's Restaurant in Oakmont was also outstanding. Excellent service, excellent food.
Relocated our rooms. Didn’t get to stay at that hotel.
